This was a great read! A lot of people think you have to pretend to be something you’re not in order to get a following, but you don’t! People out there want sincerity and honesty! LOVE this! :)

The thing is Helen, once you have found you, are you the same you all your life? or do you change? so you are constantly looking?

I think its very liberating and then you KEEP growing Louisa.. you are STILL YOU.. YOu just keep growing/improving the YOU that you love and totally accept :)

Awesome post Helen!
Plain and simple…Just be yourself!
Yes, it’s truly liberating when you don’t have to
pretend to be someone else but just being yourself.
Thanks for being such an inspiration Helen!

You certainly make the point about being you. As I glanced at the comments, I’d agree with Louisa — We are forever in flux as we grow and expand. What I was 5 years ago, I am not now. Oh some things stay the same while others morph. Interesting topic you raise.

It’s funny how I never used to get results in my business trying to copy what I thought people wanted to hear, and once I just threw myself out there and shared what I wanted like I was talking to my best friend, I started immediatly getting results! People really need to just be themselves, and realize that’s what people are attracted to. Great article Helen!

I would agree, Helen…the biggest challenge you have is to love and approve yourself. Being yourself is the best person you can be. Loving yourself first, will allow you to the ability to love others better and more fully.

It used to be so hard for me to be myself. …just because I didn’t like myself. I have changed so much over the last 6 months. Thanks Helen.

Great post Helen. I had trouble when I was younger to be myself as I always had the need to be wanted and loved but as I grew older and wiser I’ve just accept the fact that not everyone is going to like me and that’s just fine with me as I can’t please everyone. Only the ones that matter in my life do I truly care about their opinions. Thanks for sharing :)

Helen, great blog post

It took a long time for me “to get” that I am who I am and I had better get used to it and get used to not caring about what others think about me.

That was and is a very freeing acceptance and I LOVE IT

Thankyou

Di
